The Hangar on the Hudson had an old Fashioned double headed hootenanny on Wednesday night, as Troy’s own honkytonk heroes The Brule County Bad Boys filled the stage. Josh, Tex, Zack, Buckley, Benny, Steve And Sam brought energy and a high-cowboy style to a packed house. Their 9 song set featured 5 songs from their most recent album Chamberlain! They got the crowd into a country frenzy for about fifty minutes to ready the audience for the headlining Legendary Shack Shakers ! They hail from Paducah, Kentucky and brought a unique combo of pee-picking and foot stomping with a combination of country, cowbilly and psychobilly music! Front-man JD Wilkes was over the top vocally and on the harmonica was Joe Buck. For an hour and a half many danced themselves into the humid night with their unique and speedy tunes! Truly a night to remember.
