Beyond Purple rocked the house at The Strand Theater in Hudson Falls, NY, on Friday, March 25th
Beyond Purple belts out the hits of Deep Purple, Whitesnake, Rainbow and Dio all born out of the Deep Purple family tree.
The talent in this band is hard to match. Traveling throughout New England, the lead vocals of Mike Gill, electrifies every song.
Jimi Bell’s (also the guitarist for Autograph) over the top guitar playing and incredible shredding are beyond comparison and have made him legendary in the music world.
Mark Zito replicates the sounds of each and every song replicating the nasty Hammond organ sound created by the late great Jon Lord.
Brian Camelleri’s solid bass playing and tight riffs round out this amazing band. Bryn Mutch (substituted for usual drummer BJ Zampa, who was working with his other band DOKKEN and not available for this show) certainly held his own and provided the driving beat.
Together they bring us back to the hard hitting songs of the ’70s & ’80s many us miss in todays music.
